Genealogy Resource Sharing Group: Forensic, Title, and Heir Research* Tuesday, June 7 6:30 PM Katharine O’Connell of North Coast Genealogy will present on her work and a particular missing person’s case she is currently working on. This event will be hosted here at Ritter Public Library and the presenter will attend in-person or virtually depending on her schedule. Crafting with Angela* Wednesday, June 8 and Tuesday, July 19 2 PM Join Angela as she guides you through a fun seasonal craft. All materials are provided. BingoWith Kingston* Thursdays, June 9, July 14, Aug 11 11 AM Kristi from Kingston Healthcare will visit the library for bingo - fun and prizes are in store! ARRGGH: A History of Piracy on the Great Lakes* Wednesday, July 13 6 PM Ahoy mateys! The National Museum of the Great Lakes will visit for a fun-filled historical and cultural re-examination of piracy and its implications for understanding Great Lakes history. No parrots, or peg legs, included but a healthy dose of thievery, mutiny, and other unsavory tales. Local Author: Michael Garrigan Monday, July 25 6 PM Join us as we hear the story of Michael Garrigan as told in his memoir - Ushered Out of Darkness. He will speak about his writing process and answer questions. Michael will have books available for purchase at the event. Bridging the Digital Divide* This special series in collaboration with Serving Our Seniors is designed to teach older adults the technological skills necessary to survive and thrive in an increasingly digital world. Bring your own smartphone or tablet for instruction and one-on-one help from knowledgeable instructors. No prior knowledge is assumed, and absolute beginners are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
