P 3 Ritter Public Library • Summer 2022 • ritterpubliclibrary.org The Ritter Public Library Endowment Fund is pleased to announce the funding of a 202122 grant in the amount of $21,015 for furniture for the library’s new Community Engagement Room. Since its inception in 1999, which began with a $2000 donation from Bettcher Industries in memory of Judy Nagy’s father, John, and the generous donations of numerous patrons, the Endowment Fund has contributed over $112,000 to improve and support the library. Over the years, grants have been awarded to purchase furnishings, equipment, a microfilm reader, an e-book expansion during the pandemic, and more. Our Roland SG2-300 large format printer and cutter, acquired in 2021 thanks to funding from the Community Foundation of Lorain County and the Mylander Foundation of Erie County, is available for use by appointment. The Roland can print high-quality graphics and cut intricate shapes. A variety of materials are available, including poster paper, sticker paper, adhesive vinyl, window cling vinyl, and banner material. To make an appointment, call 440-9673798.
