We have been open for a few weeks now and starting to get into this new way of working in a library.
The COVID-19 pandemic creates many challenges and some of them have been economic. Much of our funding comes from the state of Ohio through the Public Library Fund. Because this fund fluctuates based on the strength of the economy, we are experiencing the negative effects.
Beginning next Monday, June 8, Ritter Public Library will not be open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our hours for the foreseeable future will be:
Wednesday – Saturday – 10 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday – 1 pm – 5 pm
The first hour of operation will be reserved for seniors and individuals with health concerns. Please remember to wear a facial covering.
We will continue to circulate items and requests may be made online or by giving us a call. If we have the item available, the holds placed Friday – Sunday will be ready for pick up on Wednesday afternoon.
Through the generous donations from the Ritter Public Library Foundation and the Friends of Ritter Public Library, we will be holding an online Summer Reading Program. Please check back here often for information on how to sign up.
Thank you for your wonderful kindness during this time. We are grateful to be part of a supportive library community.
See you soon!
