Opening the doors each morning, I look forward to seeing who will visit the library. I am so pleased to have seen so many of you this week. I wanted to answer a few questions today to help everyone navigate this new way of using the library.
What can I do at the library?
For the time, you may place a hold or pick up materials that have been placed on hold. Call us or use the website. Materials owned by Ritter may be placed on hold and picked up 24 hours later. Each patron may borrow ten items at a time. We are happy to place holds for you over the phone.
You may also use a computer. We have four computer stations available for one hour use. Each station is sanitized before and after use and disposable covers are placed on the keyboards and computer mice.
No browsing is permitted at this time.
What about Summer Reading?
We are planning a fun Summer Reading Program that will be held online. Please check back here for more details.
How can I return my materials?
The book drop behind the library is open now or you may return items inside the east entrance from 10 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Saturday or 1 pm – 5 pm Sunday.
How long will the collections and meeting rooms be closed to the public?
This is one question I wish I could answer confidently. I can assure you that we are keeping tabs on the information coming from our state and local authorities. As we get new information, we will adjust our plan. We want to provide all the services we are able in the safest way possible.
Please give us a call if you have any questions – 440-967-3798.
