Fine free for veterans

As we at Ritter Public Library celebrate our 100th anniversary serving the community, we salute all those men and women who have faithfully served our country in the military.

Beginning on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11, all veterans and active-duty military personnel will no longer be charged late fees for overdue items at Ritter. We thank you for your service.

Does not include fines from other CLEVNET libraries or lost or damaged items. Please bring in active-duty ID, DD214 or veterans group membership card.

Honoring our loved ones

Our loved ones who served their country proudly deserve honor and recognition. Help us create a lasting tribute!

Bring in photographs of the veterans in your family—from any generation, past or present. We’ll scan them for you and add them to a memorial that is permanently available at

Bring a flash drive or email address and get a digitized copy to add to your own family story!
