Summer Reading is Here!

logoToday marks the start of Ritter’s Summer Reading Program! The children’s and teen departments are decked out in fish-themed decorations, and the children’s librarians are ready to get your child signed up and ready to read!

Children entering fifth grade and under (including little ones who aren’t in school yet) can sign up at the children’s desk. We have over twenty prize jars to possibly win, along with lots of smaller prizes to win throughout the summer. Ritter’s Random Acts bingo cards are back as well, so encourage your kids to get out in the community and do something good!

Sixth through twelfth graders can sign up at the teen desk. Reading a book wins a scratch-off ticket that can yield candy, something from the prize basket, or more scratch-offs! Each ticket is also an entry to win one of our grand prize gift cards for either Romps, AMC Theaters, or iTunes! They can also write a short review of the book they read to win another ticket!

If you have any questions, please visit us at either the children’s or teen desks during library hours, or call (440)9673798 and ask for the children’s desk!
