Ritter offers an ongoing schedule of hands-on computer classes. Click on the name of a class to bring up the registration screen.

 

  • Library Closed – Labor Day
    When: Monday, September 01, 2014 – All Day

    The library is closed.

  • 'Appy Hour!
    When: Monday, September 08, 2014 – 6:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    Where: Second Floor Tech Center

    Relax with new friends and enjoy a lively discussion about the latest and greatest apps. We will spend one hour introducing apps for every aspect of life. Maybe you will bring some app ideas of your own. Be sure to bring your tablet, iPad or smartphone. We’ll meet in the eTech Center upstairs by the fireplace. In September we will be featuring Photo apps. Please call the library or register below.

  • Beginning Word
    When: Monday, September 15, 2014 – 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
    Where: Computer Lab

    This class will introduce you to basic document creating tools. We will use Word 2007. However, it is very similar to Office 2010, 2013, Google Docs, and many other word processing programs. This is a prerequisite for all of our office classes. Basic mouse skills and familiarity with a computer are required.

  • Tech at Ten
    When: Tuesday, September 16, 2014 – 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    Where: Endowment Room

    What could be better than a cozy morning spent learning and sharing with friends? We will share apps, websites, tips and tricks in an informal setting. This group will meet monthly to trade technology ideas, while enjoying coffee and cookies. You bring your favorite morning beverage and ideas – we will have a comfy corner and the cookies. We will meet in the Endowment Room. Please call the library or register below.

  • iPad Basics
    When: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 – 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
    Where: Endowment Room

    Do you have a new iPad or an old iPad that is collecting dust? Attend this basics class to learn great tips and tricks to get the most out of your iPad. Learn to search for and download books from the library and check out magazines for free! Bring your iPad to the class.
