Ritter offers several computer classes, please click the title of an event to be taken to our sign up page.

  • Computer Literacy Course
    When: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    Where: Computer Lab

    This twice-a-week, eight-week, hands-on course is designed to teach students computer skills, office tools, and the web, while introducing computer concepts, so future learning can be self-taught. It is a compressed course that is intended for the serious, committed student, who is able to attend all sessions. The targeted audience is those who wish to add computer skills to their existing work skills and those who are unemployed, under-employed, or retired. You may use one of the computer lab computers, or you may bring your laptop with a fully-charged battery to class. The class will not be covering Windows 8. Call the library to reserve a seat, or register below.

  • Basic Computer: Basic Windows
    When: Wednesday, May 22, 2013 – 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM
    Where: Computer Lab

    Join us as to learn about the basics of a computer. We’ll look at the parts of the computer and talk about screen basics and menus. We will even look at how to properly turn the computer on and off. Familiarity with the mouse is necessary to attend this class. Call to make a reservation, or register below.
