Will Close Sundays Instead, beginning in December

After reviewing the library’s financial situation, trustees have decided that cost-cutting measures begun earlier this year, as well as an agreement by hourly employees to forego a scheduled raise for next year, will allow them to restore the 11-hour Wednesday schedule.

The library will open again on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning Dec. 2. It will begin closing Sundays on Dec. 6.
