Mr. Brown re-joined the library board in 2011. He previously served on the board from 1998 through 2003 and was a member of the Vermilion Board of Education from 2004 through 2007. He has also served on the board of the Vermilion Education Foundation for about 10 years. He is a graduate of Brown University and is the practice leader of the employee benefits division of the Willis insurance brokerage Cleveland office. He is chairman of the library Buildings and Grounds Committee and also sits on the Finance, Endowment and Levy committees. |

Ms. Martin began her term in 2006. She is currently serving her second term as vice president and she is also chairman of the Personnel Committee. She also serves on the Finance and Nominating committees. She is a graduate of Ohio State University and has lived in Vermilion since 1992. She is employed at the Oberlin College main library and is a member of the Black River Audubon Society and the Choral Spectrum choir. |

Ms. Warden has served since 2002 and is a former board president. She is chair of the Endowment Committee and also serves on the Personnel Committee. Ms. Warden, who graduated from Kent State University, is a retired preschool teacher, a lifetime member of the Friends of Ritter Public Library and served for 12 years on the Vermilion Board of Education. |

Ms. Blackman has been on the board since 2004 and is a past president. She is chairman of the Nominating Committee and also serves on the Policy and Strategic Planning committees. She has lived in Vermilion since 2002 and is retired. She also volunteers with the community-wide Grace’s Kitchen project. |

Ms. Gibbons has been a member of the board since 2004. She is chair of the Finance Committee and also serves on the Strategic Planning, Endowment and Levy committees. She is a graduate of Mount Union College. |
| Rick Van Den Bossche | |

Mr. Van Den Bossche has served on the board since 2006 and is a former board president. He is currently chairman of the Policy Committee and also sits on the Building and Grounds and Personnel committees. He is a lifelong resident of Vermilion and a graduate of Vermilion High School and Bowling Green State University. He is employed as a high school business education teacher in the Toledo school system. |

Ms. Wakefield has served on the board since 1987 and is a former board president. She chairs the Strategic Planning Committee and is a member of the Nominating, Building and Grounds and Levy committees. She is a graduate of Wittenberg University and works as a parent educator in the Vermilion school district. |
