Ms. Wakefield has served on the board since 1987 and is a past president. She currently serves on the Buildings & Grounds, Nominating, Art and Finance committees. She is a graduate of Wittenberg University and works as a parent educator in the Vermilion school district. |

Ms. Blackman has been on the board since 2004 and is a past president. She is chairman of the Nominating Committee and also serves on the Policy and Strategic Planning committees. She is a graduate of Purdue University and has lived in Vermilion since 2002. She also volunteers with the community-wide Grace’s Kitchen project. |

Ms. Warden has served since 2002 and is a former board president. She is chair of the Personnel Committee and also serves on the Nominating and Endowment committees. Ms. Warden, who graduated from Kent State University, is a retired preschool teacher, a lifetime member of the Friends of Ritter Public Library and served for 12 years on the Vermilion Board of Education. |
| Doug Brown | |

Mr. Brown re-joined the library board in 2011. He previously served on the board from 1998 through 2003. He is chairman of the library Buildings and Grounds Committee and also serves on the Endowment and Personnel committees and is a past president. He is a graduate of Brown University and is the practice leader of the employee benefits division of the Willis insurance brokerage Cleveland office. He was a member of the Vermilion Board of Education from 2004 through 2007. He has also served on the board of the Vermilion Education Foundation for about 10 years. |
| Nancy Gibbons | |

Ms. Gibbons has been a member of the board since 2004. She is chair of the Finance Committee and also serves on the Strategic Planning, Endowment and Art committees. She is a graduate of Mount Union College and is director of administration for The Huron Playhouse, Inc. |
| Rick Van Den Bossche | |

Mr. Van Den Bossche has served on the board since 2006 and is a former board president. He is currently chairman of the Policy Committee and also serves on the Building and Grounds, Personnel and Art committees. He is a lifelong resident of Vermilion and a graduate of Vermilion High School and Bowling Green State University. He is employed as a high school business education teacher in the Toledo public school system. |
